Running is one of the most fundamental things we can do. It’s how people got from point A to point B before we had bicycles and cars and trains and planes. It’s also how you’re going to escape the Zombies, so it’s an important thing to train.

More than that, improving your running can actually improve your other workouts.

What’s that you say?

Oh, it’s true! Improvement in running is accompanied by improvement in the way your body exchanges gasses, and that improved gas exchange leads to athletes feeling less out of breath in the middle of other workouts, ones that don’t involve any running.

So do yourself a favor and get out of breath today, you’ll thank yourself later.
