Back Squat

Continuing our theme for the week – here’s what our coaches post would look like for today:

This is our heavy day for the week, as always that means we’re encouraging our veterans to go for new PR’s when things look good enough to warrant that.

Give them a good general warm up that gets the blood pumping and heart rate up a bit. Brief the WOD, the focus is on high quality, heavy movement. We also want to ensure that everyone gets AT LEAST 5 working sets of 3 reps in to establish the volume we’re looking for in order to gain some good adaptation.

Talk them through the major points of the back squat and get them on a barbell/rack with a buddy by no later than 15 after.
