Rest as needed between efforts
So, before you guys get too far into this blog I’d like to start it by saying that the workout in this video is a massive undertaking that requires lots of planning, time and preparation before facing its challenge. The WOD is unlike anything I had seen before and watching two very talented athletes run the gauntlet like this just flat-out inspires me.
But I do want to be clear, these are elite athletes that are used to very high volume training, intelligently approaching a workout under careful supervision. This kind of volume can, if left unattended, lead to issues like injury, fatigue, or worse. This workout is not intended for everyone. That being said. This is freaking awesome. Note too, that Jason starts to comment on the suck-factor as well.
