We don’t explicitly talk about the power of positivity a lot at the gym. But, you all know that when I talk about what the workout is that day I always say something like – “we’ve got a good one for you today”. I say this whether it’s a 4 min full out sprint or a 30 minute grinder and every day I mean it.

My hope when I do this it to ensure that all of our athletes are approaching the workout with that same mindset, that they know today’s workout will make them fitter and help them on the journey towards meeting their goals. No matter what the workout/task is, approaching it with a positive mindset will always yield more positive results than approaching it with dread and negativity.

Take a look at the article below and ask yourself if you could improve your mental approach to your workout, or even your daily life and how much that might improve your experience. All too often we meet people who could accomplish amazing things, if only they could get out of their own way.
