***Reminder***
The gym will be closed this weekend, Feb. 21-22nd. There will be a park WOD Saturday at 9:30.

Thank you guys for your patience and understanding about the high volume of seminars we have hosted the last month. Many of you may not know this, but we actually don’t choose the date to host a seminar. To make things even more exciting, each division of CrossFit training has their own seminar/course schedule coordinator, and by the looks of things, they don’t compare schedules often.

While it certainly was not the plan to host three courses over the span of five weeks, we also appreciate that hosting is a tremendous honor that allows us to improve the knowledge of our coaches. In the past year we have sent all of our head and assistant coaches to at least one specialty course, Weightlifting and/or Kids courses. As a perk of hosting, we were able to offer these courses to our coaches at no charge, not to mention the benefit of avoiding the added cost of travel, food and lodging they would have incurred otherwise.

We see this as a trade off. Yes, it is inconvenient to have the gym closed for two days (though we typically hold a Saturday morning park WOD), but we would hope that having a coaching staff that can help you improve your technique or safely and effectively coach your children is worth it in the long run.

This weekend’s weightlifting seminar is the last course we currently have scheduled, which is a good thing because next week the CrossFit Open kicks off and Saturdays at the gym are going to be epic!

P.S. The Open starts Feb 26th….
