Back Squat 3-3-3-3-3

There have been a growing number of athletes who have been interested in participating in some local competitions. Any of these athletes, or even spectators from our gym, have undoubtedly noticed something that sets us apart from the other athletes competing. Our athletes at CF SAC consistently achieve a full range of motion in basically every moment that is asked of them. We even heard at one event that we were the “technical” gym. I take a lot of pride in that. A full range of motion is what we’re looking for in everything we ask of you.

The other day an athlete said to me “lower? What do you mean lower?” I explained the range of motion I was looking for in a squat and how we could improve that range. I’m not picking on anyone. I know that it can be hard to get down as low we’re asking. Just realize that I’m going to keep trying to get you that full range because that’s the goal for our movement.
P.S. Those numbers in lbs… body weight of 126 lbs and squat 255×3. Not too shabby.
