Bench Press 5-5-5-5-5

We’ve used this video several times to demo bench press technique:

The woman in the video is Laura Phelps-Sweatt and is one of the strongest women in the world, holding World Record titles in the bench (465 lbs.) and squat (740 lbs.) at 165 pounds body weight. Most recently, she has set her sights on CrossFit and has been doing nothing but CrossFit for the past few months. We are excited to see how her background in Powerlifting will translate into the varied world of CrossFit.
