We love Olympic Lifting. We love it because it both demands and develops high levels of speed and power. It also teaches athletes how to properly use their hips to exert force. Why is that important? Because EVEY major athletic movement, running, jumping, punching, kicking, throwing, all of them begin with the hips. Look at professional athletes, the ones with the biggest GO muscles (the butt and hamstrings) are hitting the most home runs, running for the most yards and performing the most spectacular dunks.
