They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I’m not sure how many words a video with audio is worth, but this one is worth a lot! There is a reason why we do the things we do at CrossFit SAC, why certain rules are in place and why we ask for you to set up your equipment in a specific way. Here we get the perfect demonstration of why two of these rules exist wrapped up in one video. Ladies and gentlemen, the reason why we ask for thumbs around the bar and why we don’t want you to have a box directly underneath or behind you while doing pull-ups or toes-to-bar.

Today is a day that will definitely tax your grip, so  remember that this is just a WOD, be safe, know your limits and get your thumbs around the bar!
