Monday 7/29

5 rounds for time
5 Front Squat @ 155/105
5 Muscle Up

I hope you had an opportunity to watch some of the CrossFit Games this weekend. I know that in previous years, I have come away from the Games with a renewed sense of motivation to improve on my weaknesses. The CrossFit Games represent the “tip of the spear” or the best of the best when it comes to athletic performance, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us get a pass on staying committed to our health and fitness because we’ll never beat Rich Froning. The whole point of CrossFit is find the best possible version of you, whether that means you haven’t yet mastered double unders or are doing push ups on your knees. Every time you walk into the gym, you are doing so much more for yourself than those who are scared to be uncomfortable or are afraid of failing. As the shirt says, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
