Last week we posted about calories and why we don’t focus on counting or “burning” them. I know it’s hard to shake the habit of looking at the nutritional label to see how many calories are in the foods you are about to eat and all any health magazine or weight loss show talks about are calories this and calories that. You know who else wants you to only focus on calories? Coca Cola.
It’s a lot easier to make the metabolic firestorm that is a can of soda seem harmless if all you are doing is looking at the calories. In reality, making a habit out of drinking those meager 140 “happy” calories can lead to some pretty serious health consequences.
