Snatch 5-5-3-3-3-1-1-1-1 reps

To me, the Snatch is probably the most impressive lift one can perform. Especially when it’s done at elite levels of competition. The lifter is almost like a magician. He or she will walk on to the stage with their own personal idiom and flair building up to this big trick they’re about to demonstrate. They step up to some massive weight as if confronting a giant in battle. As their hands find the right position on the bar, everything goes quiet. Then, there is an explosion of strength and speed. Everyone holds their breath and magically the bar appears over the lifters head in an impossibly low position. They stand up, hold, the white lights flash and the crowd goes wild. The giant, has been slain. The lifter, a hero. I know, I’m a goober.

Point is, go out there and slay those giants no matter how big or small. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go laugh hysterically like a ten year old boy.
