This week we will be hosting some coaches from UNR. If you are available Tuesday/Thursday 12-2 or Wednesday 1-3, we would really appreciate having some people around for movement breakouts. This will be an opportunity for you to get some extra coaching and feedback on the fundamental movements like squats and deadlifts. If you can make it during any of these days for the two-hour blocks, please sign up on the “Monthly Challenge” whiteboard up front.
We will be having our 3 year Anniversary Party next Saturday (3/23) after we finish 13.3. We hope you are able to stick around or stop by. Also, please bring a dish/side/slab of meat/dessert to share. We have a poll on Facebook where you can indicate what you are bringing. It doesn’t have to be “healthy” but it had better taste good.
Two down and three to go in the Open season this year. We’ve already seen some inspiring performances in the first two weeks and there’s bound to be even more as the workouts keep coming. More than anything the Open’s are a time of year when Amy and I are thankful for the great community we have at the gym and all the encouragement and support you all offer to each other. So keep working hard and keep being awesome!
