3 rounds for time:

15 Burpee

The Sac-Town Throwdown was this weekend and it was so great to see so many people from the gym turn out to watch. Some may have noticed that movement standards weren’t always uniformly performed by athletes. That is to be expected in a competition environment, where every second counts. What is important is that all movement standards are enforced, so that the playing field is level. This weekend CrossFit rolled out its Judges Course, which is an online course that covers various movements, their standards and common faults. Throughout the modules, there are tests that combine both multiple choice questions, and short videos of movements being performed where you have to judge the quality of the movement. This course is $10, and is not required unless you plan to judge at Regionals. However, it could be of some benefit to those who want to better hone their judging skills.

As we are gearing up for the 2013 CrossFit Open Sectional season, we will be back at CrossFit Roseville for another Open Sectional throwback WOD on Saturday, February 9th. We certainly hope we can get another big group to go over there again.
