NEW YEARS WOD!

***ATTENTION***

For New Years Eve there will be only a 9am class. We will be closed on Tuesday. Please come on in even if the class is full, we’d love to see you!

Rule #1 – Goals must be stated in the positive.

Rule #2 – Goals must be measurable.

Rule #3 – Goals should be means to an end, not an end in and of themselves.

and now…

Rule #4 – Goals must have a deadline.

We’ve got a goal that’s positive, measurable and is a means to an end with ““do the pull up club every chance I get or do a max set with the green band before I leave class, to get to 20 unbroken pull ups with the green band”, but we’re not quite finished yet. The final piece of this puzzle is to have a deadline, to have a date by which you want to achieve this goal.

It’s great to have an idea of what you want to do but without a deadline on it how long will it take you? That’s right, I don’t know either. So it’s imperative that we have a date attached to that goal to so that there is a sense of urgency, of motivation.

With that in mind let’s finish off this goal of ours –

Do the pull up club every chance I get or do a max set with the green band before I leave class, to get to 20 unbroken pull ups with the green band by Feb. 1st.

Now we have something we can really work with.

To that end, keep an eye out at the gym for our new goal board … COMING SOON!
